When you order pizza or a sub on a random Wednesday evening, chances are your food will be ready in about half an hour. If that Wednesday is the day before Thanksgiving, however, it’s going to be a different story. Everyone else has the same idea as you, so the kitchen has a lot more orders to handle than usual. If you want to eat at 6 pm, you should place your order at least an hour before. Don’t wait until everyone is hungry to place the order. You’re going to be waiting a while. Plan ahead and order early.
Take Advantage of Online Ordering
Restaurants get noisy when they’re busy, and trying to take orders over the phone can get challenging. Our staff is trying their best to get your order right, but it’s easy to mishear you over all the hustle and bustle. Even if you prefer to place your order over the phone, this week is a good time to take advantage of online ordering, especially if your order is large or complicated.
Opt for Pickup Over Delivery
While delivery is convenient because you don’t have to leave your house, it does extend your wait time. When the driver has several orders to deliver, your food spends longer in transit than if you go pick it up yourself. Insulated delivery bags help, but they can only do so much. If you want to get your food as quickly as possible, your best option is to opt for pickup over delivery.
